President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon held a meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergei Chichuk. During the conversation, the parties discussed details of the official visit to Moldova of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, scheduled for April 18-19.
“The visit program includes meeting of President Lukashenko with the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, signing of bilateral treaties, etc. In addition, the head of the Belarusian state, at my request and as a friendly gesture, decided to present our country a gift in the form of several units of equipment.
We were unanimous in the opinion that a very good partnership has been established between our countries and there is a potential for cooperation that can and should be assessed for the benefit of our peoples. Let me remind you that last summer I visited Minsk, where I handed an invitation to Alexander Lukashenko to visit our country, " the President of the Republic of Moldova said.
