Today, President Igor Dodon met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to the Republic of Moldova Valeria Biagiotti.

The parties discussed a number of issues concerning relations between the two countries.

A separate topic was the discussion of Igor Dodon's forthcoming working trip to Italy, scheduled from November 4 to 6 and a meeting with his Italian counterpart Sergio Matarella, as well as His Holiness Pope Francis. In addition, the Head of State will hold a meeting with representatives of business circles of Italy and the Moldovan diaspora in Rome.
