The parties discussed more issues of bilateral relations. The head of state mentioned that the diplomatic relations between Moldova and Denmark were established in 1992, demonstrating a positive evolution of the dialogue at a higher politic level.
„At the same time, the indicators registred in the comercial-economic field are quite modest: in the six months of this year, the trade exchange volum has been only 7 mln. USD, being, however, attested an increase compared to the previous two years. At the same time, Moldova is interested in direct investment from Denmark”, Igor Dodon said.
Also the interlocutors discussed the home policy of Moldova in the context of the forthcoming parliamentary elections. Referring to the foreign policy of our country, the President of the country mentioned that Moldova should build mutually beneficial balanced relations both with the West and with the East.
